I'm a girly girl, who loves pink, shoes and all things that sparkle. But don't let that fool you. I'm also sharp and sensible. And I know what it takes to be a success in business.
I spent most of my career as a Marketing Director at a wholesale distributor of DuPont products. I wore a lot of shoes in this role, including business planning, strategy, graphic design, copywriting, event planning and production. And, now, I'm trying to teach myself web development.
After I'm done making stuff on my computer, I like to make stuff with my hands. Give me a bottle of glue and some glitter and I'm set. I make things I need, things I want and things to make my surroundings look fabulous! I play with fabric, rick rack, sequins, paint, wood, canvas, game pieces, old furniture and more.
On the weekends, you'll probably find me in my girl truck (my convertible) hunting for treasures at estate sales. My best find to date? An old set of black army lockers that I repurposed in my kitchen as a pantry. I paid a whopping $5 for the entire project. But what can I say? This is me. I discover treasures wherever I look.
